The heritage
Born for the Egyptian Navy
In 1954, Panerai built the reference 6154 — the "Egiziano Piccolo" — for the combat divers of the Egyptian Navy. Fewer than a hundred were ever made, and originals now rank among the most coveted Panerai in existence. The PAM00662 is the manufacture's faithful modern tribute: 47mm of the same quiet military purpose.

The dial
Tobacco, aged by design
The warm tobacco brown dial recalls the "tropical" patina of vintage radium dials — a chemistry once considered a flaw, now treasured as character. Paired with gold-tone polished hands beneath a domed Plexiglas crystal, it carries the glow of a watch that has lived a life at sea, delivered new.

The movement
Calibre P.3000, wound by hand
Inside beats Panerai's in-house P.3000 — a hand-wound movement with a three-day power reserve, honoring the manual-winding tradition of the military originals. No rotor, no shortcut: just the daily ritual of the crown, the way its ancestors were kept alive on deployment.
