The dial
Black, bitten by red
The "Vampire" takes its name from one of the most dramatic pairings in the Offshore catalog — a black Méga Tapisserie dial pierced by vivid red accents on the chronograph hands, scale, and stitching of its identity. Large luminous Arabic numerals keep it legible at a glance; the red keeps it unmistakable across a room.

The case
The original shape of audacity
At 42mm and 14.5mm thick, the Vampire wears the Offshore's signature architecture — brushed stainless steel, polished chamfers, and the octagonal bezel secured by eight hexagonal screws that made the Royal Oak a design revolution in 1972. Gérald Genta's geometry, rendered at full volume.

The movement
Caliber 3126/3840
Behind the dial runs AP's celebrated automatic chronograph — 59 jewels, a 50-hour power reserve, and finishing executed to Le Brassus standards. Its crisp pusher action and proven reliability made this caliber the backbone of the modern Offshore era, and this example keeps time and measures it flawlessly.

The provenance
Two straps, one story
This 2015 example arrives fitted with a Miami Blue Horus rubber strap — a striking counterpoint to the red-and-black dial — with the original AP black leather strap included for a more classical wrist. Accompanied by its double box set and papers, with warranty booklet dated March 2015. Inspected, authenticated, and photographed exactly as it will arrive.
